# Keyboard shortcuts

Glass Project uses MacProject Pro’s command keys, so your hands already know them. Where macOS uses the same key for something else, MacProject Pro’s command keeps it and the macOS command moves: Hide is ⌃ ⌘ H, Minimize is ⌃ ⌘ M, and Zoom In and Out are ⌥ ⌘ = and ⌥ ⌘ -.

This list is made from the app’s own menus. Every menu item, with or without a key, is described in [How it behaves](https://msitarzewski.github.io/GlassProject/behavior.html.md).

## On the Schedule Chart

The mouse works as it did in MacProject Pro.

| Hold ⌥ while drawing                            | Draw a milestone instead                      |
| Drag out of a task box onto another             | Link them: the second depends on the first    |
| Drag out of a task box into empty space         | Draw a new task that depends on it            |
| Click inside a box                              | Edit its name                                 |
| Drag a box’s border, or ⌥-drag it from anywhere | Move it                                       |
| Drag a selected box’s corner handle             | Resize it                                     |
| ⇧-drag                                          | Select everything inside a rectangle          |
| Double-click a task                             | Task Info                                     |
| Double-click a dependency line                  | Lag Time                                      |
| Double-click the legend                         | Display Attributes                            |
